Here the complete interview:

Question: What were the emotions of participating in City' Scape 2023?

Answer: The event was engaging from many points of view, starting from the venue where it took place, the Palazzo dell'Arte, one of the most important cultural institutions in Milan where art, architecture and fashion exhibitions take place. and design at an international level. An ideal place to pay attention to the "stories" of those who commit themselves in their daily lives to designing well-conceived and built spaces, in which the landscape becomes strategic in the challenge against climate change.

Question: How do you evaluate the interventions that took place during the two days of the symposium and which ones impressed you the most?

Answer: The interventions followed one another at an incessant pace and they all struck me with the density of the contents. The various aspects of the theme were discussed without formalities but in perfect coherence with the theme of the symposium.

Question: Why did Terra Solida participate in City' Scape 2023?

Answer: Terra Solida does not want to be "just" a commercial partner. The scheduled speech, held by our communications manager Dr. Francesco Mora and entitled "The soil project in climate change", was our contribution to explain to those present how the problems that today affect the subsoil and what is connected to it such as water basins and infrastructures can be addressed. Deforestation, poor management of forest areas and water basins, unsustainable agriculture and questionable construction, to say the least, seriously endanger the hydrogeological balance. Balance which, however, is the objective we must set ourselves and which can be achieved with determined actions.

Question: Which projects presented at the Milan Triennale do you remember with pleasure?

Answer: I certainly followed with extreme attention and emotion the projects in which Terra Solida contributed, such as the intervention of the architect. Simonetta De Ambris for the "Gardens of the Colosseum", the speech by Dr. Stignani of the Paisà studio and the architect. Selleri of the Pan Ass.ti studio, among other things winner of the first prize for the Vicenza Peace Park. But I also found the other projects interesting, luckily there is always something to learn. My curiosity remains about what is being built in Piazza Castello in Milan, for which I have some doubts regarding the durability of the chosen paving over time.

Question: How does Terra Solida contribute to safeguarding the hydrogeological balance?

Answer: We at Terra Solida are not satisfied with what we have already achieved over the years and we do our part with the concreteness of our ideas, with constant commitment to research and development of increasingly cutting-edge technologies and by putting the experience gained at the service of designers in the creation of eco-compatible draining surfaces, friendly to the environment and functional for water exchange. This is our contribution.
