Friday February 25th arrives Gold Blu, the conference in person and digitally which has as its theme the problems related to runoff water in the city. The meeting is fundamental to address a topic of vital importance for many people and for the environment.
From 14.00 pm to 17.30 pm in Milan we will talk about "Runoff water in the city from a problem to an environmental resource". In fact, water management in urbanized areas is a fundamental and still little addressed issue, which poses various technical and environmental problems. In fact, more and more often we hear about water bombs, street flooding and the collapse of sewage systems. All very dangerous and avoidable situations thanks to correct prevention.
Runoff water in the city: an important issue
Today the goal for safeguard the environment, the people and the places in which we live is to reduce the flow towards urban drainage networks and, consequently, that of watercourses to reduce the flow of rivers. This is a complex topic in which multidisciplinary and broad skills come into play. The first step is the application in various Italian regions of the regulations on the hydraulic and hydrological invariance of rainwater.
However, among the most urgent practices remains that of managing the flow of water in the city in the best way. A practice implemented thanks to the systems sustainable urban drainage.
