Creation of eco-friendly draining paving with single-granular aggregate for a car park in the municipality of Cavolano (PN)
The client's intentions were to obtain a surface suitable for a car park, in terms of mechanical performance, and capable of completely absorbing rainwater, allowing its total infiltration into the subsoil. A special mix design of the conglomerate was therefore formulated with the aid of specific multifunctional additives for the preparation of mixtures with high draining capacity.
Description of the project
The project, which was totally satisfied, had precise requirements in terms of the pavement's driveability, its high draining capacity, its eco-sustainability and the color scheme so as to be perfectly inserted into the territorial context.
The design requirements for the construction of the car park were mainly:
- eco-friendliness of all the materials used;
- colors and textures entirely in accordance with the lithology of the site;
- mechanical characteristics such as to guarantee long durability of the car park;
- high draining capacity such as to guarantee the complete and sudden absorption of rainwater, even during copious events, allowing its complete infiltration into the subsoil and guaranteeing full usability of the car park with the absolute absence of stagnation and puddles.
Products used
To create the routes the following were used:
- Opencomposit ECO, a multifunctional liquid compound used for the packaging of draining mixtures with high mechanical performance;
- Openprotation, a seasoning aid to guarantee the correct maturation of the surfaces of draining floors.
