Creation of eco-friendly natural paving with inert earthy waterfront Montepaone Lido (CZ).
In 2016 the municipal administration of Montepaone wanted to add an important piece to a very valid tourist offer with the creation of a large work of great naturalistic value and usability for all citizens and visitors; the arrangement of the waterfront with eco-compatible flooring and other collateral works has allowed, in all these years, the full use of these spaces in one of the most beautiful landscape settings on the Italian coasts.
The use of indigenous stabilized granular mixes of eco-compatible binder stabilizer was a choice of great respect for the environment.
Description of the project
The flooring created completely satisfied the performance, durability, colour, texture, eco-compatibility (100% recyclable materials) and permeability requirements with compliance with the principles of hydraulic invariance. Furthermore, the high performance and the particular characteristics of the binder used, which is totally eco-friendly, allowed the floors to withstand the attack of marine aerosols rich in sodium chlorides without any degradation.
The design requirements for the creation of the routes were mainly:
- eco-friendliness of all the materials used;

colors and textures entirely in accordance with the lithology of the site;

mechanical characteristics such as to guarantee long durability of the routes;

high permeability such as to ensure that the surfaces are not waterproofed, guaranteeing full usability of the route with the absence of stagnation and puddles.
Products used
To create the routes the following were used:
- Nature Premix, certified eco-friendly binder stabilizer for the stabilization of granular mixes and with high mechanical performance;

Stabilcure, a seasoning aid to guarantee the correct maturation of flooring surfaces.

Eco-friendly binder-consolidator in powder form, to be used to create natural and permeable paving, in stabilized earth, through mixing with soil present on site or with stabilized quarry mixes or with recycled aggregates deriving from demolitions, even if in the presence of clay and silt .

Treatment for the correct maturation of stabilized surfaces. Stabilcure is a water-based product for the correct hydration of the hydraulic binder used for the stabilization of in situ soils or granular stabilized mixtures
We need to build a farm road with the passage of trucks and tractors in Calabria which is currently stabilized with potholes
Considering laying a new layer of stabilized NATURE STABIL ROAD material
NATURE PREMIX Binder should be provided per m² or m³? Should STABILCURE Additive adjuvant for stabilization also be added and to what extent?
What is the cost of both?
Can a local company do the laying and compacting of the new surface?
