External driveway paving: ecological solutions
It happens more and more often than in the making of external driveway paving let's look for solutions ecological and environmentally friendly. The growing sensitivity to the issues of environmental protection and safeguard is pushing both public administrations, companies and private individuals to look for "eco-sustainable" alternatives when it comes to creating country roads, avenues, squares and car parks within private gardens.
It should not be surprising, therefore, that in recent years various solutions have been created - some even "hi-tech" - which allow the creation of ecological and environmentally friendly driveways. Among these, two in particular stand out for the advantages they are able to guarantee. There stabilized earth and the lawn protection grid – although different in application areas – are in fact increasingly appreciated and used in the most disparate situations.
Ecological outdoor flooring: stabilized earth
When we talk about driveable and eco-sustainable external surfaces, it is actually impossible not to talk about stabilized land. This "hi-tech" solution allows you to create floors characterized by a high degree of mechanical resistance to vehicular traffic and highly draining. Characteristics that make the earth stabilized as the "material of choice" for works within marine, wooded and forestry areas, natural parks and areas subject to historical, landscape and environmental constraints (SCI, SPA, SAC areas).

The mail job is quite simple and does not require particularly invasive interventions. To create stabilized earth it is possible to use soil present in situ (the same as the excavation, for example) and aggregates from quarries or recycled aggregates resulting from demolitions to be mixed with an eco-friendly mineral stabilizer. The resulting mixture will guarantee high mechanical performance which will prevent the onset of erosion and degradation phenomena.

Stabilized is not the only way to go to create a drive-through and eco-sustainable external flooring. A very valid alternative - especially for small-medium sized works, is represented by lawn protection grill. For those who don't know, it is a honeycomb structure usually made of plastic which allows the creation of driveway and permeable surfaces without intervening on the "continuity" of the turf.
